Kathleen Byrne

Kathleen Byrne is a member of Mawhera Writer's Group in Greymouth and published her memoir Away...For God's Sake in 2021. This tells a story of growing up in post WWII Ireland, joining a religious order of nuns, and living and working in prisons in France.
Kathleen now enjoys life in New Zealand and takes great pleasure in her children, grandchildren, writing, riding her e-bike, and visits back to her family in Ireland. |
