Our resources of finances and time are limited, but within these limits we work to:
1) Support and promote the writing activities of writers and writers’ groups in the craft and business of writing.
2) Maintain a healthy financial status for the branch and ensure effective governance.
3) Uphold NZSA goals to promote and increase membership, and diversity of members.

Kerry Sunderland is a writer and editor, who curates the Nelson Arts Festival’s literary programme, Pukapuka Talks and coordinates writers' retreats and workshops.

Iona Winter
(Waitaha/Kāti Mamoe/Celtic) Poet, essayist, storyteller and editor, Iona has four published collections of poetry and hybrid fiction. She is the Southern Districts Representative with NZSA National Board.
